Don't Be A Chump, strives to bring information on breast cancer to the table and they will have tons of research based information to share with you. On top of that they have health related curriculum which they already use with schools for education and awareness.
Founder Holly Rose, mother of two and wife, founded the non-profit organization Don't be a Chump! Check for a Lump!, after her personal battle with breast cancer, at the age of 38.
What began as a simple mission to remind women to perform breast self-exams and timely mammograms, evolved into a comprehensive education program to further help save lives. In addition, Holly developed a Wig program to provide women undergoing chemotherapy treatment with a free custom new wig.
The workshop will be an hour and a half long. This workshop will be geared towards teachers.
Please register for a ticket for each person attending as space is limited.
Thank you to "Don't Be A Chump, Check For A Lump" for caring about our teachers!
