Our CSM Training prepares leaders, makers, and anyone in between to guide, sponsor, and participate in Agile/Scrum initiatives. At the end of the 2-day CSM class, participants will have gained knowledge of Agile product development, all of the elements of the Scrum framework, and the knowledge necessary to take the certification exam from Scrum Alliance.
Earning your certification is a good step towards understanding Agile and becoming a change agent. Our Certified ScrumMaster class welcomes both beginners whose first day in class is their first day in Agile and veteran Agilists who are looking for ways to get better. Project managers, tech leaders, even people who are not involved in software development have all found value in our certified ScrumMaster workshop.

What does it take to be a good ScrumMaster? This section covers the ScrumMaster’s role, responsibilities within the Scrum team, and skills needed to become successful.
One big misconception about Agile and Scrum is the lack of planning or general organization around work. Learn how artifacts like Product and Sprint Backlog and Burndown charts create visibility and track progress.
As a ScrumMaster you not only need to help your team improve their processes but you also need to encourage them to improve their technical practices. In this module we will help you understand how supporting Agile technical practices may help your team improve their overall agility.
Where does the CSM fit into your overall Agile transformation? If an organization wants to create lasting agility, what needs to happen after training? Our Path to Agility is an Agile Transformation framework that helps organizations understand the entire journey and what it takes to go through the different phases of Align, Learn, Predict, Accelerate, and Adapt.
The ScrumMaster is the Agile champion of the team and is the defacto expert of Agile (if an Agile Coach is not there). As Agile and Scrum become the way of life for organizations, having the certification can make resumes seem more appealing to new prospects and help participants become more valuable to their organizations.
Agile is going mainstream; it’s no longer confined to tech teams. Many departments, from marketing to operations to sales, have started to adopt Agile. Becoming a certified ScrumMaster may help those who wish to escape the tech bubble.
Reading a book can only take you so far; sometimes you need colleagues and certified experts to add to your Agile toolbox. Use the two days of class to immerse fully in the world of Agile and Scrum to increase your fluency.
At the end of the two days, our CST will submit the names of qualified participants to Scrum Alliance and Scrum Alliance will send a link to take the test.
To pass the Scrum Alliance CSM exam, you need to answer 24 out of 35 questions correctly. Participants will have two attempts within 90 days of receiving the welcome email from Scrum Alliance at no cost. After two attempts or 90 calendar days, the test is $25 for each retake. The exam is an open book, open note test.
The Development Team does not sit together and therefore rarely communicates. Due to this arrangement, they tend to segue into deep technical discussions when sharing at the Daily Scrum. What should the ScrumMaster do?

What’s the refund policy?
You may cancel up to 10 days prior to the class and receive a 90% refund or transfer to a future date. No refunds will be provided within 10 days of the class. However, you can switch to another class based on availability. We cannot guarantee a transfer without penalty if the notice falls outside our 10-day policy.
I have dietary restrictions. What should I do?
We will make every effort to accommodate most dietary restrictions, depending on the venue’s capabilities. Please make sure to make a note on your order to let us know ahead of time. You are also welcome to bring your own lunch if you do not want to eat what is provided.
