Join Erica Tatum-Sheade, LMSW for a 6 week G.i.R.L.S. (Girls In Real Life Situations) group, running Saturdays from 11:30am-1:00pm starting August 25th 2018. Girls will explore the following issues during this group: body image, emotions/communication, relationships/friendships, self-esteem, stress/tough times and more. Girls will leave this group going from asking “Who am I?” to understanding “Who I am.” During this group girls will be given the opportunity to feel empowered, gain self-awareness, develop coping strategies, improve problem-solving skills, understand that they are not alone, and learn to make healthy decisions. This group is designed for 2nd-5th graders. Cost is $75 per participant and includes all materials needed.

Erica Tatum-Sheade, LMSW is a licensed child and adolescent therapist and social worker practicing in Scottsdale, Arizona. Her primary focus is helping children and families in a tough spot get back to well-being. She started her career as a Tribal Social Worker working with families in the child welfare system, and now in addition to her therapy practice she continues her passion working with families/children currently dealing with the child welfare system as a volunteer for the Maricopa County CASA program. She is a mother of three very busy children as well as the Owner of Wellness Suites and Co-Owner of Arizona Institute for Advanced Psychotherapy Training.
