As ASU begins migrating to the Instructure Canvas LMS system in the Fall, this is a good opportunity for faculty and instructional designers to evaluate the overall design of courses. The Quality Matters Rubric can be an excellent resource and starting point for identifying opportunities to enhance their courses and improve the student experience.
This is Quality Matters' flagship workshop on the QM Rubric and its use in evaluating online courses. It is intended for a broad audience, including but not limited to faculty, instructional designers, administrators, and adjunct instructors who wish to understand more about the QM process and, perhaps, aspire to become peer reviewers.
This is a rigorous two week, fully online workshop with assignments and firm deadlines (due to QM requirements). Participants who complete the workshop will obtain the APPQMR certification from the Quality matters program.
